NAFTA Panel Discussion Scheduled In FDL
Envision Greater Fond du Lac will be hosting a panel discussion about the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). It will be at the Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts next Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Envision President and CEO Ceclia Harry says the discussion will focus on the future of NAFTA. She feels any changes to NAFTA could affect the entire economy and specifically industry sectors with strong representation in Fond du Lac County. There will be four panelists. They will represent the Dairy Business Association, the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation, Mercury Marine and Ripon College. Former Ripon College Professor Marty Farrell will do an overview of NAFTA. The cost to attend is $20 for Envision Greater Fond du Lac members or investors and $30 for general admission. Lunch is included in the cost.
