Name Released In Fatal Oshkosh Train Accident

Oshkosh Police and the Winnebago County Medical Examiner’s Office have released the name of the 20-year-old Oshkosh man hit and killed by a freight train last weekend. Police say Sawyer Zeinert was riding his bicycle on the sidewalk along Fond du Lac when he struck the edge of a concrete wall of a small bridge and was ejected from the bicycle. It’s believed he was injured and disoriented when he was struck by the train last Friday night.
