Names Released From Accident At EAA
Names of two people involved in a fatal plane crash
at EAA AirVenture have been released. Seventy-four-year-old Jeff Oeffinger’s
single-engine Breezy plane crashed near a line of military trucks from Oshkosh
Corporation just east of the north-south runway. The Versailles,Kentucky man was
taken to Theda Clark Regional Medical Center where he died of his injuries. His
passenger a 21-year-old Jennifer Wolozyk of Elmhurst, Illinois was taken to a
hospital in Oshkosh where she is in serious condition. The accident happened
about 9 a.m. Thursday morning. The FAA and NTSB are investigating the crash.
Oeffinger was an EAA member.
