Names Released In Fatal Jefferson County Plane Crash

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office has released the names of the two people killed in an ultralight plane crash in a river near the Fort Atkinson Municipal Airport Tuesday. They were 51-year-old David Plambeck of Edgerton and his 16-year-old passenger Max Burlingame of Fort Atkinson. The plane was nearly submerged in the river when rescuers arrived. The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department, DNR and Federal Aviation Administration are investigating the cause of the crash.
