National Child Passenger Safety Week Runs 9/20-9/26

This week is National Child Passenger Safety Week, and the City of Fond du Lac Police Department is reminding parents and caregivers to make sure their kids are safely buckled in while in the car. Police Officer Erik Foster tells KFIZ News that its important to know what the child safety seat laws are, and to make sure the seats are properly installed in your car. 

”It’s very easy, when you’re not in the proper type of seatbelt, to get hurt either by not wearing it and being ejected from a vehicle. Or, if you are wearing it, but it’s an improper fit for you.”
