NE Wisconsin Maintenance Work Updates For Week Of 6/13

Traffic impacts for maintenance work the week of June 13

(Northeast Wisconsin) The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region announces state highway maintenance work in Northeast Wisconsin. Maintenance operations are typically preformed in spot locations in the project limits. Traffic impacts do not typically affect the entire highway limits of the maintenance project, or throughout the project’s entire duration. All maintenance operations are weather dependent. Work is listed by county.

Brown County (FULL CLOSURE – June 13)

• Maintenance crews will be repairing concrete on County JJ between the southbound I-43 on-ramp from County JJ (Manitowoc Road) and the northbound I-43 off-ramp to County JJ (Manitowoc Road). County JJ will be CLOSED between the ramps (over I-43) beginning at 6 a.m., Monday, June 13 through 6 a.m., Monday, June 27. The interchange ramps will remain open.

Marinette County

• Maintenance crews will be repairing pavement on northbound and southbound US 141 between County P and Finnelli Avenue and between County W and Dropp Road, daily, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday, June 14 through Thursday, June 30. A flagging operation will take place on US 141 during repairs.

Winnebago County (Ramp closure)

• Maintenance crews will be repairing pavement on the southbound I-41 off-ramp to US 45 on Monday, June 13 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. The ramp will be closed during repairs.
• Maintenance crews will be repairing pavement on northbound US 45 between WIS 116 and County GG from Monday, June 13 to Friday, June 17 from 7 a.m. to noon. Various lane closures will take place on US 45 during repairs.

Winnebago County Bridge Closure

• The Oregon/Jackson Street Bridge is closed to vehicle traffic in downtown city of Oshkosh. The bridge is open for marine traffic. Bridge engineers are developing plans to repair worn gear teeth. Scope and schedule of repairs will be posted online when more information is available.

Motorists are urged to slow down and be mindful of workers near highways.
