New AG wants to change WI gun laws
New Attorney General Josh Kaul wasted no time setting a few new agenda items Monday night. Using his Inaugural Address as his platform, Kaul it looking to implement a new state law allowing police or family members to take guns away from people who may be dangerous. Kaul is calling it a “red flag” law, which would allow for law enforcement or family members to get a judge to temporarily seize someone’s weapons. The goal, he says, is to protect against people who shouldn’t have a gun.
