New Chief of Police in Lomira Sworn In

The Lomira Police Department has a new Chief of Police. Sergeant
Bryan Frank was sworn in as the department’s new Chief at the Village Board
meeting Wednesday night. Frank has worked for the Village of Theresa and the
Village of Lomira for a combined 18 years, and had been serving has Officer in
Charge for the department after former Chief Christopher Mireski retired
earlier this year. Frank is the sixth Chief of Police in Lomira since the department
was established in 1963. In addition to Frank’s promotion to Chief, part-time
officer Todd Borchardt was named the newest full-time officer h the department
on Wednesday. Borchardt has nearly 12 years of law enforcement experience and has
been with the department since February.
