New COVID-19 Cases In Winnebago County Coming From 20-29 Age Group

There’s new concern in Winnebago County over a growing number of young adults contracting COVID-19. A recent spike in confirmed cases has come in one particular age group, people ages 20-29. Roughly 50 percent of the new cases have come from this age cell.

What concerns health officials even more is that almost 80% of the cases are coming from one city, Oshkosh. Which is leading to more warnings for continued use of face masks, social distancing and hand washing, especially in the 20-29 age category.

The Wisconsin Bureau of Communicable Diseases is tracking a number of clusters and spikes around the state in both workplaces and communities.
