New Deputy District DA named, starts January 7
starting Monday. That’s the news coming from District Attorney Eric Toney’s
office. Assistant DA Douglas Edelstein has been appointed Deputy DA, filling
the position that has been vacant since then-Deputy District Attorney Dennis
Krueger passed away suddenly. Edelstein has been in the County office since
January of 2014, having been assigned to the Drug Court Team, Crash Team,
Health Department’s RAP Team, and saw extensive work on vehicular homicides as
well as complex drunk driving offenses. Edelstein also teaches Business Law at
DA Eric Toney says “I’m excited to appoint Doug Edelstein as the next Deputy
District Attorney for
tremendous asset to the Fond du Lac County District Attorney’s Office and our
community since joining the office in 2014.”
