New MU Law Poll Shows Drop In Support Of Safer At Home Order

This
month’s Marquette Law School Polling focused on COVID-19 and the government
response to the outbreak. Poll director Charles Franklin says support for
Governor Evers’ Safer At Home order has dropped off, with 69 percent of
Wisconsinites saying they’re fine with the current orders.

“And
that’s a big change from a month ago in March when our last poll was done when
fully 86% said it was appropriate and just 10% said it was an
overreaction.”

Trust
in President Trump’s handling of the virus also slipped, with just 44 percent
of respondents saying the president was doing a good job.
