New Oakfield Superintendent Expected To Be A Good Fit For The School District

The president of the Oakfield School Board says the school district’s new superintendent will be a good fit for the district. Penny Kottke says Vance Dalzin has 25 years of experience in education. She says he will become involved in the community as well. Dalzin replaces Sue Green who resigned in March to take care of a sick family member. Dalzin is currently the superintendent of the Fox Point-Bayside School District in Milwaukee County. Kottke expects him to be a good fit for the Oakfield School District. She says they used a search firm to look for candidates and Dalzin was one of about 20 people who applied. She says Green worked part-time for the school district, but some personnel changes will allow Dalzin to be a full-time superintendent. She says they had a couple of retirements and did some restructuring. Dalzin begins his new role for Oakfield on July 1st.
