New Stage Built for Lifest
A dedication ceremony was held in Oshkosh on Tuesday for a new permanent stage at the Sunnyview Expo Center. The $972,000 stage is set to be a centerpiece for the Christian music festival, Lifest, which will mark its 20th anniversary in two weeks. Lifest is the second largest tourist event in Winnebago County, drawing 23,000 people each day. The stage is also expected to draw performers year-round. The finishing touches and landscaping around the stage are expected to be complete just as the festival kicks off on July 11th.
