NFDL Police Chief Says Don’t Make It Easy, Lock Your Vehicle

As area law enforcement continues to investigate a number of car break-ins over the recent months, one local police chief is offering up some tips for the public to keep their belongings safe. North Fond du Lac Police Chief Darren Pautsch tells KFIZ News the easiest thing you can do is make sure your car doors are locked. Pautsch says another important step is to take all valuables out of your car, or hide them in a center console, glove compartment or in the trunk if you can’t. Anyone with information about the recent thefts from vehicles is asked to call 920-906-5555.
