NFDL School Board Votes To Keep Fight Song Intact

The North Fond du Lac School Board this week found out just how passionate residents are about the High School’s fight song. District Administrator Aaron Sadoff says an effort to change some of the lyrics was shot down. The board voted unanimously to keep the song’s lyrics as is. Sadoff says the song dates back to the 1940s and residents turned out to show their North Fondy Pride, which includes keeping the song intact. He says in the school district “winning” is an attitude that goes beyond the athletic field it extends to the classroom and way people in the district treat each other.
