NFDL School District Gets Grant For Before And After School Program

A community learning center grant will allow the North Fond du Lac School District to establish a before and after school program for early childhood at the Friendship Learning Center. The grant is for $75,000 a year for five years. District Superintendent Aaron Sadoff says North Fond du Lac doesn’t have a Boys & Girls Club that offers kids a place to go. He says with the new program kids whose parents work will have a place to go early in the morning or after school where they can learn or have enrichment opportunities. Sadoff says they will even be able to bring in community groups to get boys and girls involved in some fun activities. He says there will also be some project-based learning and athletics.
