NFDL Schools Under 15-Day Mask Mandate

With an increase in confirmed cases of COVID-19 within the North Fond du Lac School District, facemasks will now be mandatory inside all district buildings, at least until October 6th.

That announcement was made on the School District website, and states that masking will be in place during and after school activities through Tuesday October 6th, at which point data will be reviewed and the mandate will be adjusted as needed.

The dashboard as of Wednesday morning shows 13 students within the district have tested positive for the virus, with another 64 students showing symptoms.

The latest tracking also showed a new case rate of 52 over the past two weeks, which took the district over the predetermined max number of 50 it had set back on September 7.

Superintendent Aaron Sadoff had told the school board then that, once that number was eclipsed, a 15-day mask mandate would go into effect.
