NFDL Superintendent Talks About State Budget Approval Delay

North Fond du Lac Schools Superintendent Aaron Sadoff says he’s hoping the state budget gets passed sooner rather than later so they can begin their planning for the district’s next budget. Sadoff says it would be nice to see state legislators come up with answers for the budget that doesn’t involve taking money out of one department’s budget to plug holes in another. The two biggest sticking points for the state budget are over transportation and education budgets. He feels state legislators will come up with the answers that are needed. He says having safe roads is huge and so is the investment in public education.  Some state lawmakers have expressed frustration about delays in approving the state budget, with a new biennial budget supposed to take effect on July 1st.
