NFDL Village Board Gets Check From School District

North Fond du Lac Village Board President Jim Moore happily accepted a check from the School District Monday night for community pool improvements. Village Administrator Chuck Hornung says the check for $4095.63 is half of the proceeds from this year’s annual Oriole Open Golf Outing. He says it is much appreciated. He says it will help them with improvements to the pool including putting in a splash pad. He says they have a little over $100,000 in a fund for the improvements and next spring will put in the splash pad, which will replace the small waiting pool. Hornung says they will make other improvements to the pool in the coming year depending on funds and will add to the improvements over time. North Fond du Lac 6th Grade Teacher Lee Skaar presented Moore with the check during the Village Board’s meeting.
