No Major Fireworks Issues for Fire and Rescue

Despite constant reports of fireworks being launched around the City of Fond du Lac on the Fourth of July – Fond du Lac Fire and Rescue had a fairly quiet night. Division Chief of Fire Prevention Troy Haase tells us they did not respond to any major incidents involving fireworks – and that the holiday “went off without a hitch” on their end. Haase reminds people to not light off fireworks that explode or leave the ground, because they are illegal to use in the city – and that even something as simple as a bottle rocket could land in the wrong place and cause a major fire hazard.
