No New Threats Against Election Security

With November midterm elections just around the corner, an official with the Department of Homeland Security says no new threats against Wisconsin election security have been detected. Elections here were targeted by Russian hackers in 2016. Alex Joves with Homeland Security in Chicago told a hearing of the Wisconsin Elections Commission that the federal agency is “not seeing anything to date,” and that “processes and protocols” are in place to prevent hacking attempts.
