No One Hurt In Green Lake County Emergency Plane Landing

Green Lake County Sheriff’s officials say no one was hurt when a small plane crash landed in a cornfield off Phelps Road in the Town of Green Lake Saturday afternoon. When deputies arrived the 61-year-old pilot and a 9-year-old boy who was his passenger were out of the plane and weren’t hurt. The pilot said he was in a holding pattern waiting to fly in to EAA in Oshkosh when the plane lost power and he was forced to make an emergency landing. The plane was flying from Ohio to AirVenture. The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the crash.
