No Skiplanes Saturday For Annual EAA Fly In Event

The lack of snow in Oshkosh and absence of snow in the forecast has forced some changes for the annual EAA skiplane fly-in scheduled for Saturday at the EAA AirVenture Museum. Because of the unseasonable conditions, there will be no skiplane operations this year during the popular EAA winter event. However, the Pioneer Airport hangars will be open free of charge from 10 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. that day, allowing people to explore the more than 30 airplanes on display at the facility, which is usually only open from May through early October.
