North Fond du Lac Firefighters Prepare to “Fill the Boot”

As part of a more than sixty year tradition the North Fond du Lac Fire Department Local 4912 is preparing to kick off their annual Fill the Boot fundraising campaign next week. On September 11^th and 14^th, firefighters will hit the streets to raise money for kids and adults dealing with muscular dystrophy. 

They will take to the corner of Prospect and Winnebago with boots in hand – asking anyone who passes by to hand out a donation for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The contributions go to support local families dealing with muscular diseases – but they also fund research and life-enhancing programs.
