Oakfield Receives Grant for Infrastructure Improvements

Governor Scott Walker awarded nearly $15 million on Friday to thirty three Wisconsin municipalities to spend on local infrastructure and community projects. The money comes through the Community Development Block Grant – Public Facility and Planning Funds. It aims to help communities improve streets, water systems, and put up new buildings. In our area – the village of Oakfield received $500,000 for infrastructure and other improvements.
