Adrienne J. Fillmore

Adrienne J. Fillmore, 71, a resident of Fond du Lac, entered eternal life on Monday, June 25, 2018 at St. Agnes Hospital. Adrienne was born in Fond du Lac, on June 7, 1947, a daughter of John and Dorothy (Bastian) Strizek.

On May 11, 1985 Adrienne married Jim Fillmore at Luther Memorial Church.

Adrienne was a charter member of Luther Memorial Church, where she was an organist, involved with the ladies group and choir. She enjoyed bowling, where she was a member of the 600 club, golfing and swimming. She loved caring for her rescue dogs, Bear and Mikey.

She spent lots of time bird watching and camping with her family. Her favorite hobbies were spending time with grandchildren, playing cards and board games.

Adrienne is survived by five children of a blended family, Lisa (Richard) Horton of Fond du Lac, Andrew (Traci) Luther of Fond du Lac, Amber Loberger of Fond du Lac, Gretchen (William) Liethen of Omro, WI, and Daniel Fillmore of Oshkosh; eight grandchildren, Amanda (Erik) Johnson, Shane (Christina Tolzman) Luther, Brady Loberger, Carissa Loberger, Lee (Jolene) Horton, Joey Lynn (Chris Ingalls) Horton, Joe Liethen and Eric Liethen and five great grandchildren.

She is further survived by two brothers, John “Jack” Strizek of Tucson, AZ and Frederick (Becky) Strizek of Lomira; brother-in-law Jeff (Denise) Fillmore of Belize, Central America; sisters-in-law, Nancy Fillmore of Oshkosh and Theresa Strizek of Reno, NV; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Preceding Adrienne in death are her husband, Jim in 2017, her parents, one grandson, Richard Liethen, one brother, Gene Strizek, and one sister-in-law, Janelle Fillmore.

Visitation: The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, June 29, 2018 from 9:30 to 10:45 AM at Luther Memorial Church, 134 E. 21st St., Fond du Lac.

Service: A Victory Service will be celebrated for Adrienne at Luther Memorial Church at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Ledgeview Memorial Park.

The family wishes to extend a thank you to the outstanding staff at the Lutheran Home, St. Agnes Hospital and the Cancer Center, especially Dr. Jones, for their exceptional care.
