Amy Vang

Amy Mor Vang was accepted into the arms of her loving Savior on May 26th, 2021 at the age of 75.  She was surrounded by her loving family as she transitioned into eternal life.  She was born in Laos on August 8th, 1945 to Youa Pao Xiong and Mai Vang.

Amy was married to Joe Vang in 1968 in the town of Longcheng, Laos. She was very proud of her ability to learn the English language through ESL classes at Moraine Park Technical College.

Amy enjoyed gardening and was a vendor at the farmer’s market.

Amy is survived by sons Nhia (Chia) Vang, Leng Kao (Pajkou) Vang and Siaseng (Mai) Vang and thirteen grandchildren. She is further survived by brothers Song C. Xiong and Jeremiah J. (Faith) Xiong and sisters Zang Moua and Shoua (Karl) Graves.

She was preceded in death by her husband Joe, brother Pang M. Xiong and sister Mai Lee.

SERVICES: Amy’s family invites relatives and friends to Zacherl Funeral Home for a time of visitation on Saturday, June 5th from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. A funeral service will follow at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Danny Vang. Amy will be laid to rest in Forest Cemetery.
