Andrew O. Humleker, Jr.

Andrew O. Humleker, Jr., 76, of Eldorado, died Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born on January 3, 1945 in Illinois, the son of Andrew Sr. and Ellen (Benson) Humleker. Andrew graduated from Goodrich High School in 1963. On June 22, 1974 he married Christine Abitz at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac. Andrew worked at Mercury Marine as a Journeyman, die maintenance technician until his retirement in 2009. Andrew cherished spending time with his children and grandchildren. He loved his dog, Mitzy and his granddogs, Bailey and Bella, Nascar, building and drag racing his own cars, working around the house as a handyman, going on trips to Vegas, and playing the lottery.

He is survived by his wife, Christine; five children, Linda (David) Contreras, Todd Humleker, Julie (Toby) Smith, Michael (Amanda) Humleker and Adam Humleker; seven grandchildren, Emma and Cody Smith, Dylan, Olivia and Logan Humleker, Jeramie Contreras, and Marissa (Antoine) Council; great-granddaughter, Camryn Council; two siblings, Jon Humleker and Joann (Douglas) Kiehn; and many nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters in-law and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Sr. and Ellen; sister, Emily (Herb) Falkenburg; father and mother in-law, Leroy and Ethel Abitz, and sister in-law, Susan Humleker.

The visitation will take place on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, from 3:30 – 6:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Memorial service will follow at the funeral home at 6:00 PM. Due to Emergency Order #1 under Executive Order #105, masks are required while in attendance at the funeral home. Cremation has taken place. A private family burial will occur at Rienzi Cemetery.
