Angeline “Angie” Beek

Angeline “Angie” Beek, 81, of
Waupun, went to be with her heavenly father on Wednesday, January 14, 2015.

 

Angie was born March 5, 1933
in the Brandon area the daughter of Ko and Dorothy Respalje Homan.  On April 6, 1951 Angie married Bernie Beek at
Alto Christian Reformed Church.  The
couple resided in the Waupun/Brandon areas all their married lives.  Angie catered out of her home for several
years.  She was a member of First
Reformed Church in Waupun where she was involved in many activities of the
church.  Angie’s livelihood was serving
God by serving others.  She greatly loved
her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

 

Angie is survived by her
husband of 63 years, Bernie Beek of Waupun; their seven children: Cliff Beek of
Waupun, Gary (Jan) Beek of rural Brandon, Rick (Karen) Beek of rural Waupun,
Patricia Medema of Waupun, Brian (Deb) Beek or rural Brandon, Curt (Pam) Beek
of Waupun, and Cindy (Brian) Schmidt of Appleton; 13 grandchildren; 19
great-grandchildren; a sister, Catherine (Charley) Jansma of rural Green Lake;
three brothers: Edwin (Flora) Homan of Waupun, Harry (Pat) Homan of Waupun, and
Kenneth (Elaine) Homan of Waupun; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Annice
(Elmer) Hopp of Waupun, Carolyn Homan of Grand Rapids, MI, and Audrey Beek of
rural Brandon; and several nieces and nephews.

 

Angie was preceded in death
by an infant son, Gary; a grandson, Dustin Medema; son-in-law, Randall Medema;
a brother, Richard Homan; and sister-in-law, Mary Homan.

 

Funeral services for Angeline
Beek will be held Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at First Reformed
Church in Waupun with Rev. Bob James officiating.  Burial will follow at Forest Mound Cemetery
in Waupun.  Friends and relatives of
Angie Beek may call on the family on Friday from 4-7 p.m. at the Werner-Harmsen
Funeral Home in Waupun and on Saturday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the
time of service.
