Anna Donohue

Anna
Donohue, 71 of Fond du Lac, passed away surrounded by friends and family with
her latest battle of cancer on Friday, June 16, 2017 at Hospice Home of Hope.  She lived a great life and left a lasting
impression on everyone she knew.  Anna always liked to have fun with
friends and family. Anna was a caring and giving Greek lady. She put people at
ease and brightened the days of those who interacted with her.

During her time in Fond du Lac she graduated from Goodrich High School in 1964.
On September 10, 1966 she married Stephen Donohue at St. Joseph Parish in Fond
du Lac. She worked at Sears for 20 years, Mercury Marine for 5 years and finally,
worked 10 years at Charter Communications before retiring.

Anna enjoyed cooking (Greek Food), going to Iowa Hawkeyes games in Iowa City,
IA with family, watching Green Bay Packer games, going on Cruises to the
Caribbean, bowling on Wednesday night leagues, and going to Elkhart Lake to the
beach and watching the car races. She was member of St. Joseph Catholic Church
which is part of Holy Family Parish. She was an Eagles’ Club member.

Anna is survived by her loving husband Steven Donohue, daughter Kate (Mark)
Neal of Apple Valley, Minnesota, son Ryan Donohue of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin and
nieces, nephews and many friends.

Preceding Anna in death were her parents George and Dorothy Becker, brother
Michael Becker and sister Bessie Karegeannes.

SERVICES: Anna’s family invites you to a time of visitation and sharing of
memories at Zacherl Funeral Home, 875 E. Division St., Fond du Lac on Thursday
June 22, 2017 from 4:00 to 6:45 PM followed by a prayer service at 7:00 PM.
