Ardell M. Fell

Ardell M. Fell, 84, formerly of Mequon died Friday March 28, 2014 at Lasata Care Center in Cedarburg. She was born in the Town of Wayne on Aug. 19, 1929, the daughter of Walter and Helen (nee Batzler) Westerman. On June 15, 1955, Ardell married Joseph P. Fell at St. Bridget’s Catholic Church in the Town of Wayne. She worked at the Gilbert Shoe Factory in Campbellsport, the Wigwam in Kewaskum and did childcare in her home. She was a member of St. Francis Borgia Church in Cedarburg and the Catholic Knights and was the Resident of the Month at Lasata in 2010. Ardell enjoyed bingo, sheepshead, polka music, word trivia, arts and crafts, saying the rosary and attending mass. She was known for her apple kuchen and her fruit cocktail torte. Ardell had a very strong Christian faith and greatly enjoyed the company of others making friends of all including many new friends at Lasata. 



Survivors include her daughter Carol (special friend Fred Heiden) Scholten of Theinsville, her sisters Lorraine Boden of Kewaskum and Sally Doll of Allenton, her brothers Lloyd (Rosalind) Westerman of Kewaskum and Richard (Angeline) Westerman of West Bend, her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Frank Fell of Campbellsport, Jake and Jenny Fell of West Bend, Christine and James Ruplinger of Campbellsport, and Phillip Hahn of Campbellsport, her Goddaughters Joanne Westerman Smith and Julie Fell Burke, many nieces and nephews, other relatives and many many friends. Ardell was preceded in death by her husband Joseph, her parents, her father and mother-in-law John and Christina Fell, her sister Mary Hahn, her sister-in-law Arlene Fell and her brothers-in-law Gerald Doll and Richard Boden. 



A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday April 3, 2014 at 6:00 PM at St. Francis Borgia Church, 1375 Covered Bridge Rd. Cedarburg. Rev. Yamid Blanco will officiate and entombment will be at 11:00 AM Friday April 4th at Ledgeview Memorial Park in Fond du Lac. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Lasata Chapel in Cedarburg and from 3:00 PM until time of mass at the church.
