Audrey May Coon Reilly

Audrey May Coon Reilly, 89, of Fond du Lac died on Sat. Aug. 1, 2015 at the Lutheran Home and Rehab. She was born in Fond du Lac on April 13, 1926, the daughter of Clarence and Lorraine (nee Linde) Coon. She married George B. Reilly on June 10, 1944 at Morris Field Chapel in Charlotte, NC. Along with her late husband, she operated Reilly’s City Service for 22 years and then Reilly’s Bar for 23 years. They also enjoyed many years at their cabin in Three Lakes, WI. 

Audrey was a loving mother, grandmother, and a wonderful cook. She loved being around family and friends. 



She is survived by her three sons Dennis G. Reilly of Fond du Lac, David J. (Sue Ann) Reilly of Fond du Lac and Jeffrey D. (Karrie) Reilly of Eldorado, a brother-in-law James (Mickey) Reilly of Schullsburg, WI, six grandchildren Bob Reilly, Michael (Kim) Reilly, Katherine (Michael) McCardle, Conor (Lydia) Reilly, David (Jaime) Reilly and Brianna Reilly, six great grandchildren Shane Reilly, Max Reilly, Dallas Reilly, Erik Reilly, Finn McCardle, and Lauren Reilly, one great great grandson Asher Reilly, nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends. 

Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, her husband George on June 12, 2001, a brother M. J. Coon, a sister-in-law Josephine Ann “Jo” Coon, and a daughter-in-law Vicky Reilly. She was also preceded in death by 16 brothers-in-law and 13 sisters-in-law. 



Visitation will be Tues. Aug. 4th from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at the Twohig Funeral Home, 305 Fond du Lac Avenue, Fond du Lac with a service, the Liturgy of the Word, to follow at 12:00 Noon and burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
