Barbara Wild

Barbara “Ann”
Wild, 76, of Van Dyne, passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at St. Agnes
Hospital. She was born November 23, 1941 in Chicago, IL to the late Norman
Gaynor and Winifred (Cochrane) Promen.


On January
17, 1986, she married Harley Wild at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Fond du
Lac.


Ann was a
graduate of St. Mary’s Springs High School, Class of 1960 and attended the
University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh. She retired from Promen Research Systems,
Inc. Ann was a member of Presentation Parish and a former member of the Van
Dyne Lioness.


Ann enjoyed
the outdoors and was an accomplished basket weaver and taught night classes at
Moraine Park Technical College. Ann and Harley traveled often; the last trip
was an Alaskan cruise. They took many cruises and traveled to the Caribbean.


Survivors
include her daughter, Jennifer (Ron) Hackbarth of Fond du Lac; two step-sons,
Patrick (Cece Weis) Wild of Sheboygan and Thomas (Amy Schingen) Wild of Fond du
Lac, one granddaughter, Stephanie Bartow, two step-grandsons, Mitchell and
Jonathan Wild and a great-granddaughter, Lena Bartow. She is further survived
by a brother, William (Mary) Promen of Eden, a sister-in-law, Diane (Ed)
Qualmann of Iron Ridge, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.


Ann was
preceded in death by her husband, Harley in 2015; a sister, Mary (Bill) Beam
and a brother-in-law, Roger (Joanie) Wild.


Visitation:
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Presentation B.V.M.
Parish, 701 Michigan Avenue, North Fond du Lac, from 10:00 to 10:45 AM.


Services: A
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at Presentation B.V.M.
Parish, at 11:00 AM. Inurnment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery. Cremation
has taken place.


In lieu of
flowers, memorials may be directed to the Fond du Lac Humane Society.
