Betty A. Ohlemiller

Betty Arlene Ohlemiller, 83, of Burnett passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 27, 2018 surrounded by family.


Betty was born December 30, 1934 in the town of Morris, Shawano County, the daughter of Glen and Bertha Erickson Klund. She graduated from Tigerton High School in 1954. On November 25, 1960 she was married. They had five children and then divorced in 1985. In her early years she was a candy striper, and then worked at St. Luke’s Hospital in the maternity ward. She was a homemaker until 1980 when she received her CNA, worked at Clearview in Juneau, and then retired in May of 2000.


Betty is survived by her children: Steven Ohlemiller, Vickie Ohlemiller, Valerie (Charles) Erdmann, Veronie (Terrell) Braun, and Velonie Sanders; grandchildren: Breana (Boyd) Sutfin, Tiffany (Tyler) Gilganbach, Curtis Braun, Hunter Braun, Ashley Braun, Kayla Sanders, Scott Sanders, Hannah Sanders, and Tianna Sanders, and Dayton Erdmann; great-grandchildren: Sadie Gilganbach and Brantley Gilganbach; siblings: Harold Klund and Alton Klund; and many nieces and nephews.


Betty was preceded in death by her parents: Glen and Bertha; and sister and brother: Mildred and Arnold.


Funeral services for Betty Ohlemiller will be held Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 5 p.m. at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun with Rev. Jeff Nicla officiating. Friends and relatives may call on the family on Thursday at the funeral home from 3 p.m. until the time of service.
