Betty L. Grantman

   Betty L. Grantman, 89,
of Lomira, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2015, at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond
du Lac.

   She was born on
February 17, 1926, in Beaver Dam, the daughter of the
late John and Dorothy (Delzer) Potter.

  
Betty was raised and spent the majority of her childhood with her
maternal and paternal grandparents.  In
her younger years Betty was an avid skater both roller skating and ice skating.  She enjoyed being in the kitchen whether it
was cooking, canning or baking.  Betty
loved spending her time refinishing antiques, solving 500 piece puzzles,
cleaning her apartment, watching the T.V. show As the World Turns, sharing
stories and being with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

   Betty is survived by
three children, Graci (John) Bucklen of Lomira, Patricia Chastain of Cedarburg
and Melvin (Beth) Grantman of Lomira; nine grandchildren, Amy (Beau) Polinske,
Jennifer (Todd) Gilgenbach, Benjamin Bucklen, Hayley (John) Chastain, Keith
Grantman, Scott Grantman, Chad Grantman, Jessica Grantman and Lisa (Mike)
Johnson; seven great-grandchildren, Jaidyn, Madalyn, Cooper, Vinetta, Casper,
Danni and Levi; best friend, Audrey Wessing of 60 plus years; a friend, Penny,
many relatives and friends.

   In addition to her
parents and grandparents, Betty was preceded in death by former husband Melvin
Grantman, and special friend Leroy Rosenthal.

  Services for Betty will
be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 23, 2015, at Kietzer-Miller Funeral Home
in Lomira and Rev. Rom Pegram will be officiating.

   Betty’s family will
greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 p.m.
until the time of services.
