Carol A. Hanrahan
Carol Ann (Wischnewski) Hanrahan, 80, of Fond du Lac, passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Adelaide Place.
She was born on May 22, 1940, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Roland and Ernestine “Dolly” Engelmann Wischnewski. She grew up on 3rd Street and graduated from Goodrich High School. In 1961, she married William R. Hanrahan at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Fond du Lac.
Carol worked at Prudential Insurance and then Tucker’s on Johnson Street for many years. Carol and Bill moved to Milwaukee where they opened up a mortgage business. They returned to Fond du Lac over 16 years ago.
She is survived by her husband William Hanrahan, her children: Scott Hanrahan, Julie (Tom) Wisner and Kay (Kurt) Caramanidis; her grandson Matthew Garlow, and other family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
VISITATION: Friends may call on Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 12:00 – 1:00 PM at Kurki Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 31 East Division Street, Fond du Lac.
SERVICE: A memorial service will take place on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Kurki Funeral Chapel & Crematory. Inurnment will take place at Ledgeview Memorial Park.
