Carol J. Walsh
Carol J. Walsh, 72, of Fond du Lac, died Monday, October 7, 2013 at Hospice Home of Hope. She was born on February 7, 1941 in the Town of Springvale, the daughter of Millard and Mildred Griffith Voskuil. Carol was manager of Reid Terrace Apartments for 26 years retiring on February 1, 2013. She was a member of Fond du Eagles Aerie #270 Ladies Auxiliary. Carol enjoyed going to casinos, playing cards with her card club friends and being their chef for over 20 years. She especially enjoyed holiday parties with the apartment residents and her family on Memorial Day, the 4th of July, Labor Day and Christmas.
SURVIVORS: Carol is survived by one son, Richard (Jeannie) Walsh, Oswego, IL; three grandchildren, Jordan, Amelia, and Benjamin Walsh; two sisters, Elaine (Jr.) Fennema, Tucson, AZ and Patty (Jim) Plonsky, Fond du Lac; three brothers, Donald Voskuil, Red Granite, Lee (Sue) Voskuil, Red Granite, and Duane (Julie) Voskuil, Fond du Lac; a former sister-in-law, Maryann (Ron) Weyer, Fond du Lac; nieces, nephews, and good friend, Lynn Parris and family, Fond du Lac. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Robert, Larry, and Roger; one grandson, Jacob Walsh.
VISITATION: The family will receive friends on Monday, October 14, 2013 from 3:00 – 6:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 PM on Monday, October 14, 2013 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place with inurnment on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at 11:00 AM in Rienzi Cemetery. A funeral procession will depart from Uecker-Witt on Tuesday morning to arrive at Rienzi Cemetery for the 11:00 AM inurnment ceremony.
