Catherine Anita Ropinski

Catherine Anita Ropinski, 66, of Campbellsport died Tuesday February 23, 2016 at her home after a battle with cancer. She was born in Milwaukee on August 18, 1949 the daughter of Thomas “Santa” and Rose Mary (Hrpa) Reynolds.  Catherine worked at Mercury Marine, was a barkeeper for C. C. Codys and the Sandpiper and operated See No Evil Bar in Campbellsport.  She also did Home Care.  She was a founding member of the American Legion Post #222 Auxiliary and a former president and a member of the VFW Post #8339 Auxiliary. She enjoyed gardening, boating but most of all helping people in need.




 




Survivors include her husband Gary, her children Eric (Kristle) Berendsen of Evansville, IN, Tony Heibler of Eden, Brandy (Pete) Ropinski of Chilton, Dana (Robert) Marquardt of Oshkosh Jamie (Debra) Cegielski of Oshkosh, Christina Mayer of Campbellsport and Debra and Jerry Boggs of Campbellsport, her sister Wendy (Ed) Banasch, her special cuzin Laurie (Kevin) Flower, her grandchildren Kaylee, Kelli, and Shane Heibler, Zac and Jennifer Berendsen, Meredith Mielke and Jason and Shane Cegielski, great grandson Ricky Cegielski, and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her son Shane Johnson on February 18, 1991




 




Memorial services will be held Saturday, Feb. 27th at 11:00 am at Twohig Funeral Home, 109 West Main Street, Campbellsport, with Chaplain Jim Mallmann officiating. Cremation has taken. Memorials are appreciated to the family.
