Charley Joe Osborn

Charley Joe Osborn, 41, passed away February 26, 2022 as the result of injuries sustained from an automobile accident. He was born February 4, 1981, in Fond du Lac, a son of Dean and Sandra (Keup) Osborn.

Charley graduated from Goodrich High School in 1999 and received a Bachelor’s degree from UW-Whitewater. Charley married Marne Villwock on March 3, 2008 in Riviera Maya, Mexico.

Charley drove truck to New Jersey with his Uncle Dennis to train during his senior year of college. The day after graduation, he drove to Kentucky by himself.

He raced IRA Sprint Car series and won 2000 Rookie of the Year. The family loved to go camping together. He was completely dedicated to the family business. Charley was very involved in his children’s athletic teams and events. More recently, CrossFit had become a daily habit he enjoyed every day at 5:00 a.m.

Charley is survived by his wife Marne, two children Payton and Weston, parents Dean and Sandra, sister Kristina and Brett Koch and their children Wyatt and Bennett, and brother-in-law Adam (Samantha, deceased) Richardson and their children Monty and Maeda.

He is further survived by grandmother Kathleen Osborn, in-laws Paul and Maurine Prawdzik-Villwock, brothers and sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Charley was preceded in death by his sister Samantha and grandparents Donald Osborn and William and Eunice Keup.

SERVICES: The Osborn and Richardson families invite relatives and friends for a time of visitation for Charley and Samantha at Holy Family Catholic Church, 271 Fourth Street Way, Fond du Lac on Friday, March 4th from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. and again, on Saturday, March 5th from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated for a future education fund for Charley and Marne’s children, Payton and Weston.
