Christine Elizabeth Wirtz

Christine Elizabeth Wirtz, 55, passed away on October 7,
2015 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac. 
She was born on November 14, 1959, a daughter of Thomas and Arlene
Anderson Provot.  Christine married
Daniel Wirtz on April 27, 1991 at St. Louis Catholic Church in Fond du Lac.

Christine was passionate about caring for the littlest among
us.  She provided loving care for many
years to day care children, often receiving hugs from former students.  Whether you knew Christine for days or years,
you were drawn to her loving and kind personality.  Always one to put others before herself, her
warm heart and generous spirit led her to be an organ donor.  She was an avid Packers and Cubs fan and
enjoyed her many visits to Wrigley Field. 
Christine took great pride in her Norwegian heritage and loved making
lefse, a family favorite. 

Christine is survived by her husband, Dan, two daughters,
Kelly (Kent) Stauffacher of Oshkosh, WI, and Tiffany Wirtz of Fond du Lac, WI,
two grandchildren, Kole and Kamryn, her father, Thomas, two brothers, Richard
(Linda) Provot of Carol Stream, IL and Kenneth (Holly) Provot of Fond du Lac,
WI, one sister, Karen (Tom) Rausch of Fond du Lac, WI and her furry feline
friend, Dylan.

She is further survived by three sisters-in-law, Terri Wirtz
of Wake Forest, NC, Mary (Mike) Skinner of Shelby, NC and Liz (Dan) Suprenand
of Fond du Lac, WI and two brothers-in-law, Tim (Cindy) Wirtz of Watonga, OK
and Mark Wirtz of Fond du Lac, WI, six nieces, Amy (Chad) Collett of Fond du
Lac, WI, Missy (Travis) Late of San Marcos, CA, Holly (Andrew) Minion of Kings
Mount, NC, Tammy (Sean) Golden of Newark, OH, Danielle Provot of Mission Viejo,
CA and Alexandra Provot of Carol Stream, IL, three nephews, Shawn (Jessica)
Provot of Fond du Lac, WI, Benjamin Provot, Staff Sgt of Edwards Air Force Base,
CA and Samuel Provot, CPO 2nd Class of Devgru Naval Base, VA and many
friends.

She was preceded in death by her infant son, Joseph, her
mother, Arlene, her parents-in-law, Erv and Betty Wirtz and one brother-in-law,
Joe Wirtz. 

Visitation:  The family will welcome relatives and friends
at Zacherl Funeral Home, 875 E. Division Street, Fond du Lac, on Sunday,
October 11, 2015 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM and again on Monday, October 12, 2015 at
Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 200 S. Peters Avenue, Fond du Lac, from 10:00 to
10:45 AM.

Service:  A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on
Monday, October 12, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 11:00 AM.  Entombment will follow at Chapel of the Risen
Christ, Calvary Mausoleum in Fond du Lac.

The family would like to thank the doctors and staff in the
Intensive Care Unit at St. Agnes Hospital for their exceptional and
compassionate care.  They would also like
to extend their gratitude to the chaplain services and clergy for their
dedication of time and prayers.
