Chuck R. Lisowe

Charles R. “Chuck” Lisowe, 75, of Chilton, passed away December 2nd at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh. He was born June 22, 1946 in Appleton, Wisconsin, son of the late Norbert & Irene (Mortell) Lisowe and spent the last decades of his life at his farm with his wife, Connie (Jacobs) Lisowe.

Upon graduating from Stockbridge High School in 1964, Chuck joined the U.S. Army where he was stationed in Germany. Upon being honorably discharged, Chuck moved back to the Chilton area where he started his career before starting his own company, Chuck’s Septic, known for the famous catch-phrase, “You Dump It, We Pump It.” He also ran a tight ship at his bar, located in Quinney, where he was the founder of the Minnow Drinking Club and sponsored countless teams who sported the classic purple uniforms.

Above all else, Chuck cherished family and freedom. He enjoyed taking his kids, grandkids, and great grandchildren on hikes on the ledge, on family hayrides to Polly’s,  showing them how to ride his horses, and taking life in with his many cherished family dogs. He also enjoyed spending time on the deck playing cards and games with his wife, Connie, and the many friends and family members that would visit them at their farm in Chilton. He never missed an opportunity to spend time with his family, whether that be catching a cup of coffee with his siblings or celebrating a special occasion with his kids, grandkids, and great grandchildren. Chuck had a cowboy spirit and was always willing to “tell it how it is,” a value that his friends and family members could always count on. He regularly took his horses on cross-country trips, often to meet up with his friends, especially “Cowboy” Jim Miller. Chuck had a strong work ethic, and encouraged his family members to be the best they could possibly be in everything they did. He will be forever missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Chuck is preceded in death by his parents, Norbert & Irene Lisowe, grandchildren, Alec & Benjamin Groeschl, and his in-laws, Stephen & Kathleen Jacobs.
