Clarence “Skeeter” Robert Mundt

Clarence “Skeeter” Robert Mundt, 71, of Fond du Lac, died Friday, October 14, 2016,

at All About Life Rehabilitation Center.

He was born on February 25, 1945, in Milwaukee, a son of Clarence F. and Marie Barber Ziegler Mundt.  He was a graduate of New Berlin High School.

Clarence served with the Army Reserves during the Vietnam War.

On April 16, 1966, he married Alethea A. Fultz in New Berlin, Wisconsin.  They celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary this year.

Skeeter was a truck driver for Jays, Mueller Food Service, Badger Liquor, and Roundys.  He was a past member of the Teamster Union.  He enjoyed golfing, bowling, hunting, and his family.

He is survived by his wife, Alethea; two sons:  Matthew (Denise) Mundt of Fond du Lac and Steven Mundt of Fond du Lac; two daughters:  Terri (Gene) Willis of Fond du Lac and Sheri Willis of Oshkosh; a daughter-in-law, Paula Kulow of Fond du Lac; seven grandchildren:  Amanda (Ryan) Josker, Randy Willis, Elyse Willis, Devin Willis, Ashley Mundt, Darren Mundt, and Mason (Alex) Mundt; seven great grandchildren:  Avery, Chase, Bria, Carter, Tanner, Justina, and Cayden; four sisters:  Alice (Leo) Wallner of New Berlin, Marlene Unkie of Dousman, Carol (Victor) Hancock of LaCrosse, and Marie Fillmer of East Troy; and two sisters-in-law:  Linda (Robert) Caldwell of Adams Friendship and Thresa (Larry) Palkowski of Oak Creek.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a great-grandson, Michael Harley Ryan.

VISITATION:  The visitation will be from 9:30-11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 19, 2016, at Kurki-Mach Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 31 East Division Street, Fond du Lac.

SERVICE:  A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday at Kurki-Mach Funeral Chapel & Crematory.  Cremation will follow the traditional service.
