Curtis Drews

Curtis
Drews, 65, of Waupun, passed away at his home on Monday, March 23, 2015.

 

Curt was
born February 18, 1950 in Beaver Dam the son of Martin and Olive Henke
Drews.  Curt worked for many years as a
welder at Maysteel.  He loved to golf and
was a member at Rock River Country Club in Waupun.  He was a man of many interests and talents
including guitar, painting and woodworking. 
He kept the family farmhouse intact. 
He was a kind and generous brother and uncle.  He had a great sense of humor and loved to
tease and play practical jokes.  The
world won’t be the same without Curt.

 

Curt is
survived by three sisters:  Elaine Beer
of Youngsville, NC, Darlene Drews of Waupun, and Kathleen Drews of Pound, WI;
four nieces; three nephews; two great-nieces; three great-nephews; two
great-great-nieces; his good friend, Dave Grey; and numerous friends.

 

He was
preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Wilbert, Gerald, Marty and Thomas;
and an infant sister, Marsha.

 

A
celebration of Curt’s life will be held Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 11 a.m. at
Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun with Rev. J.D. McCarty officiating.  Friends and relatives may call on the family
from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
