Daniel A. Kreiser

Daniel A. “Dan” Krieser, 54, of Fond du Lac, died Thursday, November 18, 2021, at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Milwaukee on October 19, 1967, to Allen and Sharon (Whitney) Krieser. On April 11, 2003, Dan married Kimberly Mollet in Port Washington.

Dan loved nothing more than spending time with his family. Whether it was playing with his grandson, Trey, baking cookies during the holidays, or joking around with family and friends with a sense of humor anyone could appreciate. Dan enjoyed playing with his three dogs, the outdoors, sitting outside with a cold beer or iced tea, as well as grilling and cooking.

In 2015, Dan graduated from Marian University with a BS in Forensic Medicine. Prior to graduation, he completed his internship while working for the Fond du Lac County Medical Examiner’s office. Following graduation, Dan continued at the medical examiner’s office, becoming an On Call Death & Forensic Investigator and eventually Operations Manager. During the 2nd half of 2018, he was once again promoted, becoming the Interim Medical Examiner. After fulfilling this assignment, Dan assumed the role of Autopsy Manager, and was critical to the completion of all autopsies and on call investigations. On August 25th of this year, Dan was appointed Coroner of Green Lake County by Gov. Tony Evers. Dan Krieser will make a great coroner and will serve the folks of Green Lake County with expertise and professionalism. In his time with the Fond du Lac County Medical Examiner’s Office, Mr. Krieser has gained the experience necessary to step into the job of coroner with ease.” – Gov. Evers
