Daniel D. Emmer

Daniel Dean
Emmer, 56, passed away unexpectedly on February 3, 2018 as the result of a
tragic automobile accident.  He was born
on November 27, 1961 in Beaver Dam, to Raymond and Nancy (Van Antwerp)
Emmer. 


Dan’s deep
enjoyment of the philosophical aspects of life and his sociable nature led him
to volunteer his time and talent for a wide variety of “adventures”.  His quick-witted humor was only outmatched by
his ability to find amusement in any situation. 
His gentle, warm-hearted approach to family and friend as evident by his
willingness to help others at a moment’s notice.


Daniel served
in the United States Navy from 1981 to 1985, including time aboard the U.S.S.
Nitro and was employed at Seneca Foods in Mayville, WI.


He is
survived by his mother and stepfather, Richard and Nancy Skudlarczyk of Conway
AK and  siblings Germaine(Fred) Pidgeon of
Wisconsin Rapids, WI; Raymond (Cynthia) Emmer of North Fond du Lac, WI; Eileen
Klatt of Conway, AK; Brian (Katherine) Emmer of Brandon, Wi, Paul (Tiffany)
Emmer of Conway AK, Marirose Johnson of Clarkesville AK, Kevin Emmer of  Delavan, Wi, Christopher Emmer of Tulsa, OK,
Dale Skudlarczyk of Clinton, AK and Danyl Skudlarczyk of Harrison, AK; and many
cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends. 


Daniel was
preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Clara Emmer and George and
Margaret Van Antwerp, his father, Raymond Emmer and one brother, Anthony Emmer


Visitation:
Daniel’s family welcomes relatives and friends to a time of visitation at Holy
Family 

Catholic Church, 271 4th Street Way, Fond du Lac, on Friday,
February 9, 2018 from 9:00 to 11:45 AM.


Service: A
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated following visitation on Friday,
February 9, 2018 at 12:00 PM. Burial with full military honors will be in Calvary
Cemetery.
