Daniel H. Immel

Daniel H. Immel, 83, of Eden passed away on December 28, 2020 at the Woodlands Senior Park. He was born on February 2, 1937 in Dotyville, the son of the late Clarence and Florence Immel (nee Schmidt). On April 23, 1960, he married Patricia Hamburg at St. Michael’s in Dotyville. They farmed together in the Town of Byron and he also worked as a Long-Haul Truck Driver. He was a member of the Eden Lions, Leader Dog Society, Eden Firemen’s Association, was an honorary Empire Thresheree, and Luther Memorial Church. During his time at Woodlands Senior Park, he loved staying active by doing various odd jobs, such as opening the door and putting out the flag and paper. Daniel enjoyed camping and spending time with his family.

He will be missed by his children, Lori (Mike) Ryan of Eden and their children, Michelle, Matthew and Megan and Mike’s daughter Jennifer; and Randy (Kim) Immel of Brandon and their son Travis, and Kim’s children Mary, Barbra and Steven; daughter-in-law Barb Immel of Eden and her daughters Becky, Ashley and Amber; great-grandchildren, Natalie, Bennett, Emma and Sophie; siblings, Maurice (Arlene) Immel and Mary Ann (George) Scott; and sister-in-law, Agnes Fisher. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Daniel was preceded in death by his wife, son Dennis Immel, brother, Donald (Noreen) Immel, and brother-in-law Robert Fisher and Bernard Hamburg.

A private family funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Twohig Funeral Home 305 Fond du Lac Ave Fond du Lac, WI. 54935. Burial of cremated remains will take place at Forest Cemetery in the Town of Forest.
