Darwin L. Tonn

Darwin L. Tonn, 89, of Campbellsport entered heaven on Friday,
April 26, 2013 at Hospice Hope Home in Fond du Lac.

He was born January 19, 1924 to Lewis and Inez Loomis Tonn in the Town of
Osceola. He married Jane Flood at St. James Church, Town of Eden, on June 16,
1948. Darwin and Jane farmed together in the Town of Ashford for 44 years.
Darwin was also an agent and officer for Ashford Mutual Insurance Company for 37
years. He was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church in Campbellsport.

He enjoyed bowling, playing sheepshead, watching the Packers and Brewers,
woodworking; along with putting puzzles together and framing them. He is
survived by a daughter, Doreen Tonn Ruplinger (Francis) of Campbellsport; 3
grandchildren; Gary Ruplinger, Campbellsport; Adam Ruplinger, Minneapolis; and
Danielle Ruplinger (special friend Jason Christiansen), Hartland.

He is also survived by a sister; Shirley Butzke of Campbellsport; 3
sister-in-laws; Marion Flood, Gladys Flood and Virginia Tonn; and many loving
nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife Jane, his son Gary, his granddaughter
Sarah Ruplinger, his brother Ronald Tonn, his twin sister Darlene Kuehl, his
brother-in-laws Elmer Kuehl, Ray Butzke, Jerome Flood, Vernon Flood, and Bob
Majerus; sister-in-law Bernice Majerus; and nephews Daryl Tonn, Allen Flood and
John Flood.

Darwin’s family wants to thank Hospice Hope Home Care and Hospice Hope Home
for the loving care they gave Darwin during his last weeks.

Visitation will be Tuesday April 30th from 3:00 PM until time of Mass at St.
Matthew Catholic Church, Campbellsport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held
Tuesday April 30th at 7:00 PM at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Campbellsport.
Rev. Neil Zinthefer will officiate and inurnment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery,
Eden at a later date. Memorial contributions can be directed to St. Matthew
Church, Campbellsport or Agnesian Hospice Hope.
