David G. Ramthun
David G. Ramthun, 57, of Campbellsport passed away peacefully Tuesday Jan. 13, 2015 at his home after a two year battle with kidney cancer. He was born June 23, 1957 in Fond du Lac, the son of Gerald and Beverly (nee Feuerhammer) Ramthun. On Nov. 4, 1978, Dave married Debbie Stuart at St. Matthews Church in Campbellsport. He managed and drove for Dundee Sand and Gravel the family business for almost 40 years. Dave was an avid trap shooter and enjoyed golfing, hunting and ice fishing. He loved NASCAR racing and travelled to many states for races. Dave was a Kenworth man and went to many Truck Shows winning top awards for his trucks. He also loved the Packers attending many games over the years. His family was very important to him and Dave loved being a grandpa.
Those left behind to cherish Daves memory include his wife Debbie, his son Michael (Stef) Ramthun, his daughter Tracy Ramthun, his grandchildren Kylie, Etta and Brady, his parents Jerry and Bev, his brother Thomas (Kathy) Ramthun, his sister Barb (Steve) Klumpyan, his uncle Don Feuerhammer, his mother-in-law Rita Stuart, his aunt Sister Julie Weckwerth, his sister-in-law and brothers-in-law Diane and Bill Hintz and Scott Stuart, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Dave was preceded in death by his father-in-law Oliver Stuart, brother-in-law Jeffrey Stuart, uncle Ken Stuart, aunt Vera Ramthun, and grandparents Elmer and Mildred Feuerhammer, Oliver and Loretta Stuart, Sr, Ralph and Irma Hinman and Frank and Victoria Weckwerth .
Funeral services will be held on Monday Jan 19th at 7:00 PM at the Campbellsport United Christian Church, 228 Forest St. Campbellsport. Rev. Paula Anderson will officiate and burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Dundee, at a later date.
