Debra A. Riesterer
Debra A. Riesterer, age 65, of Kiel, died on December 16, 2020, at SSR Hospice House in Sheboygan Falls. She was born January 11, 1955, daughter of the late Elmer and Alice Sebo.
Debra had many hobbies and enjoyed sharing her interests with her soulmate, Glenn. They took annual trips to Door County, the Manawa Rodeo, and the Hodag Country Music Festival. She enjoyed rummaging, thrifting, camping, gardening, and going on adventures with her friend, Fay Riesterer. She never forgot a birthday or anniversary, and loved decorating her house inside and out for holidays. She liked spending time sewing, doing crafts, and putting together puzzles. She was “Ms. Fix-It,” always tinkering with something. Above anything else, she loved spending time with her family. Her grandkids and great-grandkids called her, “Little Grandma,” “Grandma With Horses,” or “Feather Grandma.”
Debra is survived by her soulmate, Glenn Woelfel; her children: Jesse (Pamela) Riesterer and Michelle Liesch; grandchildren: Justin (Taylor) Mertzig, Samantha Riesterer (fiancé, Kyle Reynolds), and Emily Liesch (fiancé, Joseph Gorgas); great-grandchildren: Ryker and Delilah; siblings: Pauline Tyson, Roy Sebo, Sandra (Terry) Lemberger, and Kathy (Gary) Carney; Glenn’s children: Tina (Keith) and Todd (Megan); his grandchildren: Mark, Keith Jr., Elizabeth, Benjamin, and Logan; his siblings: Gene, Bryon (Kathy), Joann, John (Vicki), and Jeff; and his sister-in-law: Laurie; and nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Debra was preceded in death by her parents, infant son, and brother-in-law; and by Glenn’s parents, brother, and sisters-in-law.
A funeral service is set for 4:00pm on Saturday, January 9, 2021, at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton. Friends may call from 2:00 until 4:00pm at the funeral home on the day of the service. There will be an opportunity for friends and family to share stories and memories of Debra during the service.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in the name of Debra Riesterer for donations to veterans’ organizations.
