Dennis Lee Glen, 84, passed away April 30, 2021 at Hospice Home of Hope, with his loving family at his side.
He was born April 2, 1937 in Nebraska, a son to the late Richard and Marie Glen.
On June 16, 1984 he married Jeanne Blonien Huberty in Fond du Lac. She preceded Dennis in death on April 29, 2014.
Dennis graduated from high school in 1955. Dennis served in the United States Navy from 1957 to 1961.
Dennis was employed with the United States Postal Service as a mail carrier and subsequently, was appointed as the director of the USPS Credit Union.
Every morning for the last 30 years, he went to breakfast at Connie’s Diner. He loved to watch the Badgers, Brewers and Packers play. He enjoyed golfing and watching golf on TV. Dennis loved to go dancing with his wife. He also spent time fishing with his family. Dennis had a passion for watching EAA planes fly over his home. If there was an airshow in the area, Dennis attended.
Survivors include two step-daughters, Sharon Huberty, Rosemarie (Kenneth) Von Rotz, two step-sons, Wayne (Denise) Huberty, and Randall (Gail) Huberty, five step-grandchildren, Jeanne Von Rotz, Wayne Huberty, Christina, Michael and Nicholas Huberty, and nine step-great grandchildren.
He is further survived by three sons, Dr. Roger (Cindy) Glen, Kurt (Sheila) Glen, and Michael Glen, one daughter, Laurie (Paul) Mickel, six grandchildren, sister Sharon (Steve) Anderson, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation: Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 4th, 2021 from 10:00 to 11:45 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 200 S. Peters Avenue, Fond du Lac.
Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, 12:00 PM at the church. Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery.
